JORDAN BROE

QUARTERBACK / POINT GUARD / BIG CHEESE

As a Creative Director, Producer, Quarterback, Relief Pitcher, and Small Forward - Jordan Broe has worked tirelessly to define and execute the artistic vision for some of the largest, most well-known brands in the world. Whether it was Marvel Studios, Walt Disney, Blumhouse or Illumination Entertainment, Broe has been a bedrock in the world of digital content for over fifteen years. Recently, Broe was the Head of Creative Development for DMG Entertainment located in Beverly Hills, California, which also included Valiant Entertainment Publishing, Valiant Studios, and Valkyrie Aero. His responsibilities ran the gamut from the development of Valiant Studios’ entire catalogue of IP derived from the wholly-owned publishing arm, which included film, television, animation, and streaming divisions, as well as the creative lead on marketing, public relations, and studio operations for all subdivisions under the company’s umbrella.

Through his career, Broe has cultivated relationships domestically and abroad with several external licensing partners, creative marketing vendors, and third-party production studios. His scope of work has also called for him to assess and procure talent related to studio operations, which includes a large rolodex of talented artists, writers, actors, and producers.

On the production side, Broe has had an autonomous role that has allowed him to often be the lead writer, director, producer, and editor of all creative campaigns. This would often include creating and producing all internal and outward facing pitch decks, sizzle reels, and print marketing materials, while utilizing the latest in various digital production software and miscellaneous project management tools.

Before his tenure as a creative development executive, Broe was the Head of Support & Training for the digital/studio asset management application, 5th Kind, LLC (www.5thkind.com). This was a position that was offered to him after working directly with the application's CEO during his previous seven years as a digital marketing manager and production coordinator at Marvel Studios. His responsibilities at the app focused externally on the outreach and training of the web-based tool to their clients which included several major film studios including Marvel Studios, Walt Disney Studios, NBCUniversal, Illumination Entertainment, Blumhouse, Focus Features, and Warner Brothers. Internally, Broe worked directly with the CEO, lead developers, and product managers to ensure a secure and workable application that allowed for pain-free access and distribution of highly sensitive digital and production assets within the world of entertainment. Broe would often interface directly with film and TV talent, as well as high-level producers, writers, and various technical operation representatives from major studios and production companies. On one occasion, Broe was chosen directly by the SVP of Technical Security of NBCUniversal to travel to the world famous Pinewood Studios in England to train the editorial and visual effects teams on the NBCU film “Doctor Doolittle” starring Robert Downey, Jr., who himself has been an advocate and frequent user of 5th Kind during his time portraying “Iron Man” for Marvel Studios.

Prior to his work in tech and development, Broe worked at Marvel Studios for seven years as part of a production team that supported over a dozen of Marvel's most successful features and streaming series across the first three Phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which include seven of the top box-office grossing films of all time. This was a leap from his previous position at ICM Partners where he was an assistant in the Comedy Booking department, in which he helped to manage and book over 50 artists across the globe, while simultaneously performing himself as a stand-up and improvisational comedian in his free-time.

For the last five years professionally Broe has worked as an independent film/TV producer and screenwriter with multiple projects in development both in film and television, as well as writing and producing a political “info-tainment” series distributed by YouTube and Apple.

At home, he is a Husband, Father of Two Feral Children, Former Comedic Performer (if Stand-Up and Improv still count), Lego Builder, and die-hard Yankee fan. His favorite things in the world are drinking wine and eating pizza on a Friday night with his wife, watching his kids run and climb in the backyard, The Grateful Dead, laughing, quoting the Big Lebowski, swinging a bat or shooting a hoop, collecting sneakers and wearing baseball hats (see that’s a call-back).

In 2021, Broe took his greatest leap - creating 11 Hill Street Productions...from the comfort of his kitchen table. It was a long-shot idea to create an independent production company, but in a world that loves to tell stories about the “underdog” why not? What’s the worst that could happen?

Broe has worn many hats in his career (mostly because his head hasn’t stopped growing since the age of 17) but his passion for film, television, music, and pop-culture has kept him moving forward in the stacked world of content. Whether it's collaborating with other creatives, or working tirelessly to ensure the perfect execution, creation, production, and distribution of films and television series for more than a decade, he has been able to bridge his affinity for all things entertainment with a hard-working self-starting attitude that has kept him employed in an ever-evolving industry.
